Lakeland SHS is an Independent Public School. The School Board is integral to the governance of the school. The School Board participates in the school’s planning and self-review processes e.g. Business plan and Annual report.
The Board plays a crucial role in shaping the school’s direction, contributing ideas and expertise to strategic planning and community partnerships. Members bring professional skills in management, finance, procurement, marketing, and cultural knowledge, which support the Principal and enhance the school’s ability to meet student needs.
Elected members include parents, staff, students, and community members, all who are invested in ensuring great outcomes for our students. The School Board meets once or twice a term.
